March 30 – at noon   Lunch and “Trivia with a Twist”.  The Social Committee will provide the lunch.  Come and enjoy!

April 1 – Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.  Stewardship Council meets

April 2 – Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  Easter Choir practice.  Upcoming practices:  All Wednesdays until Easter at 7:00 p.m.

April 2 – Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  Missions Council meets

April 3 – Thursday at 8:00 a.m.  Hospitality Council meets at 1887 Café.

April 20 Easter Sunday, 6:45am Easter Sunrise Service; breakfast, activity and Easter Egg hunt to follow.

April 6 – A bucket offering for My Coins Count will be taken next Sunday for the Mennonite Relief Sale, which is April 11-12 in Hutchinson.  Save up your coins and bring them to church to place in the offering to support Mennonite Central Committee and the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale!  This is the last offering before the sale, the bucket is available anytime on the table in the foyer.

April 10 – Cherry Moos making day is Thursday, April 10 from 8am-noon at Grace Hill; Grace Hill Pie/Ice Cream/Cherry Moos Booth needs volunteers for Friday, April 11 & Saturday, April 12.  See sign-up sheets for both of these on the table in the foyer.  Talk to Sharon Schmidt if you have questions.

April 5 – Verenike Making day is April 5 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.  Sign up to volunteer on the Sign-Up Genius.  The plan is to make 17,000 verenike in 6 hours!  Come be part of the fun! 

April 5 – Bohne berrogie bake day is April 5 at Moundridge High School. Volunteers are needed in the morning for two-hour shift.   There is a sign up on the MCC website or you can contact Marla Gillmore at 620-921-0428.  Bohne Berrogie will be sold from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. that day.  Plants & Things needs plants, bulbs, etc.  Attention bakers:  pie tins and zwiebach bags are available on the table in the foyer.  More pies are needed this year.  The Sale bills are printed, see the table in the foyer.  Items are needed to sell at the sale.  Need good to excellent quality items: cars, collectibles, sports memorabilia, experiences, farm equipment, golf carts, power tools, mowers, new furniture. 

Children’s Auction – Consider donating new, in-the-package, items to this year’s auction! Talk with the youth in your church to see what items they would like to bid on, but you can never go wrong with Hot Wheels, Barbie, board games, Lego sets, art kits, and sports equipment. If you wish to volunteer for the auction by clerking or helping in other ways, please contact Brad Kohlman bkohlman32@gmail.com

Debbie Claassen is planning to participate in the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale 5K Run on April 12.  If you would like to sponsor her and help raise money for Mennonite Central Committee, please give donations to her by April 9.  Checks should be made to KMRS and labeled “Run for Relief” on the memo.
